Happy Easter!

Hey friends! I usually work on Sundays, so I am really glad that  I actually have today off to spend with my family! Here are a few DSLR shots of my Easter manicure, I hope you like them. :)

Butter London Jasper and China Glaze Aquadelic

My nails are too long, I am chopping them off today. I can't take it anymore haha.

Thank you for reading! I hope you all had a great weekend!

Framed Manicure

Hello Friends! Here is my first attempt at a framed manicure. It is a lot harder than it looks!

China Glaze I'm Not Lyin'/O.P.I Gargantuan grape and a black nail art pen/brush for the frame. It's not completely horrible at this angle, hahaha!

I will be trying this again in the near future, hopefully I will have a steadier hand then. Thanks for reading friends!

Pretty Pastel Zebra

I will never get sick of Pastel! Here is my first try at a saran wrap manicure also known as the watercolor manicure. It was a bit patchy because I didn't let the base color dry so I stamped over it. I am very happy with the results...check it out!

Easter is right around the corner so I hope you aren't tired of pastels yet :)

Konad plate M-57 for the zebra print

What Wizardry is this?

Hello friends! The new 'Oz The Great and Powerful' collection from O.P.I came out recently and left me unimpressed, but after seeing this beauty swatched all over Instagram I had to break the no buy I was on to pick it up. It is gorgeous!

This is my first ever textured polish and I kind of love it! I didn't think I would, but the color has A LOT to do with it. WWIT is a beautiful bronze with gold micro glitter, perfect combination that will go with any skin tone.

After seeing the movie that this polish was based off, I am even more disappointed in O.P.I choice to make all of the other polishes in the collection so tame and well...boring. The movie was amazing btw!

The OPI liquid sand formula is amazing! This polish applied so perfectly in just two coats and dried super fast, if they come out with more pretty colors in liquid sand I will definitely be buying them.

With top coat...still very pretty.

Blurry to show the sparkle :)

Thank you so much for reading!

Bright Lines

Hello Friends! Here is a fun and easy manicure inspired by MrCandiipants on YouTube. I recently fell in love with her beautiful and creative manicures and awesome personality. I wish I could have gotten mine closer to hers but I am still happy with the way it came out.

I used lot's of different polishes over a white base, with a medium striper brush.

Thanks for reading! Have a great week everyone :)

Black and Silver with Harry Potter Twist

Hello loves! My honey recently picked up a few polishes for me since I am on a strict (not so strict) no buy. One of the polishes I got was a pretty silver Essie 'No Place Like Chrome' that I knew was going to be just perfect for stamping!
Orly Goth as the black glitter base/ Essie No Place Like Chrome for the silver design/ Sinful Colors nail art pen for my Deathly Hallows symbol on my thumb.

Red Angel Plate RA-109 for the stamped design. I am really getting into these Red Angel plates lately.

I love this stamp! I think I'm going to use it again soon but with a gradient.

Eeep! Might be time for a chop down of my nails soon, they are getting too long to stamp almost. Thank you so much for checking these out, Have a great day.

Home Movies Nails

Ok, so if you didn't already know that I have a severe love for cartoons here is another example. Home Movies Nails! Adult Swim on Cartoon Network used to play this show but I think now they only play King of the Hill and Family guy on repeat. If you have never watched this, I highly recommend it! You Can find all 4 seasons on Netflix.

Brendan, Melissa and my favorite little Weirdo Jason.

Three friends that make films together.

Brendan was such a touch one to interpret on a small canvas. Every shot of him is a sideways shot to capture his pointy nose and crazy hair, not something I could do on my nail, Womp womp.

A television set on the thumb which is the shows Logo, and Soccer Balls on the Pinky because these kids not only make movies, but they are also soccer stars.
Thanks a bunch for checking these out! I don't want to take these guys off of my nails, but the life of a nail artist is a cruel one for pretty manicures. Until next time Friends!

Rainbow Brite Nails

Good Morning Friends! I bring you a Rainbow extravaganza this Monday morning. I have had these nails written down in my idea book forever, and once I got my new Striping Brushes from BornPretty.com I had to execute it.

Rainbow striped manicure with fluffy cloud tips

After I did this I was totally brought back to my childhood because it reminds me of one of my favorites..Rainbow Brite! I should have added Starlite some metallic yellow stars.

The rainbow was all done with hand mixed acrylic paints that I got from Michael's.

Added some sparkle using China Glaze Fairy Dust

Thanks for reading friends! I hope you all have a great week!

Fowl Play

Hey friends! One of the polishes I always go back to is Fowl Play by Orly, unfortunately pictures don't do this beauty and justice. Fowl Play is a deep purple jelly with flakeys and micro glitter, in the sun you can't stop looking at it.

Orly Fowl Play for base with China Glaze Cherish for the stamping

Red Angel plate RA-116 for the design.

I'm not sure if these are supposed to be feathers or leaves but either way I am down!

Close up!

Thank you for stopping by! Stay tuned for more nails and maybe some makeup stuff soon, I'm feeling a little crazy ;)

Regular Show Nails!

Hello Friends! Today I share with you some free hand nail art of one of my favorite cartoons. Regular Show is a show on Cartoon Network that absolutely cracks me up and I have been wanting these characters on my nails forever!

This manicure was all done with nail polish because I was too lazy to color match with acrylic paints, I didn't feel like mixing.  I added matte top coat because removing shine shows more detail. I am glad I did because it too, because it looks like sketching.

Mordecai and Rigby OHHHHHHHHHHH!

Mordecai is my favorite, he came out really good!

Video game controllers on the pinkie. Clearly, I did not put much focus into those hahaha.

shiny version

I worked super hard on these and I am really pleased with how they came out! Two first for my nails regular show and pizza, gotta love it right? What do you guys think of these nails? What other characters should I try? Let me know and I hope you guys like these! Until next time :)

Fun Friday Gradient

Hello Sweethearts! I have definitely been on an Ombre kick lately and I feel like this manicure is one of my best!
Colors used China Glaze Sunday Funday and For Audrey, O.P.I Did It On Em

I used Bundle Monster plate BM-322 for the stamped design with Orly Liquid Vinyl

Before the stamping...still super pretty but I had to add something! Also, can you tell I'm ready for spring? Ha! I love a bright pastel.

The gradient or 'Ombre' manicure is just as simple as this.

Thanks for reading, have a great weekend friends!
