O.P.I Pink Flamenco

Hey there! Lately I have been on a pink kick, so when I saw this pretty pink O.P.I baby I had to snag it! Check out my swatches of this gorgeous color and my stamping job that I added to it using my new Mash plates...enjoy!
I love my new Mash Plates! I got them from Amazon.com click  the link to buy em! Mash Plates

Two coats of O.P.I 'Pink Flamenco', a gorgeous bright magenta. The formula was amazing, I probably could have gotten away with one coat.

*drool*

Using Mash plate M-45 and my favorite black polish to stamp with, Sinful Colors 'Black on Black' I added these "stairs".I am in LOVE  with this pattern!

I hope you guys like this manicure! I promise the next one won't be pink, maybe purple though hahaha I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Hello sweethearts! Today is my 29th (EEEK!) Birthday so I decided to have some fun and do some cupcake nails! Check them out...

Cute, girly and kind of awesome.

The  only things I used for this Mani are the brush the polish came with and a dotting tool. Cupcake nails are super easy!

Up close! Love that Holo!

Essie: Mint Candy Apple

Hello there friends! This summer I have been all about a pretty teal and Essie's 'Mint Candy Apple' is just beautiful.
MCA is the perfect pastel shade, I think this would look amazing on all kinds on skin tones as well.

My boy Boris hanging out with me while I play with polish..He's so cute!

My nails were so short at the time of this post, I need to trim them down. My nails grow so fast, it's ridiculous. A pain and a blessing at the same time just because I hate shaping and making them even. What do you guys think of this shade? I can't get enough of this color. Thank you so much for reading!!

Tequila Rose

What's up friends? I got the idea for this manicure in my head yesterday and decided to give it a go today. I am EXTREMELY happy with how it came out, so I couldn't wait to show you all! I love the harsh black with the light pink flowers. It's girly but with an edge.

Up Close! All done with dotting tools, it took a while but it was pretty easy to do.

Color Palette
O.P.I 'Pink Friday'/Orly 'Ancient Jade'/Sinful Colors 'Black On Black'/Sinful Colors 'Snow Me White'/Sinful Colors 'Easy Going'

The colors I chose reminded me of the Tequila Rose bottle hahaha! :)

This is one of my favorite manicures so far, I am super proud of myself. I hope you guys like it too!
Thank you so much for reading and Happy Friday!!

Summer Skies

Well friends, Summer is here and she is NOT messing around. I've lived in Arizona for 15 years so you'd think I would be used to this crazy heat by now buuuuut, NO! Hahaha oh well, at least I have central air. Check out my super easy summery inspired manicure!

Two coats of 'Blue Collar' from Orly, the perfect sky blue cream color as the base. (Sinful Colors 'Snow Me White' on the ring finger)

I got these little Lemons from Sally's a while ago and have been wanting to give them a try for the longest time. To me, this manicure is like Laying out watching the clouds with a refreshing glass of lemonade. Yeah, that sounds cheesy but that is one of my many charecteristics. :p

Using one of the disposable 'Shadow Applicators' I got from Target I sponged on the clouds. The sponge technique is seriously one of the easiest ones out there, if your interested in nail art id try sponging first!

It's so pretty! Why did it take me so long to buy this one? GAH!

Thank you so much for checking this out. I really hope you guys like this one! Let me know what you think and if you have any questions feel free to ask away! Stay Cool, Lovies!

Happy 4th of July!

Hello friends! I hope you all had an amazing Independance Day! Mine has been amazing so far and I haven't even seen the fireworks yet! (we are waiting on them now!) I usually have to work on this holiday, so I am so glad that I got to enjoy the day shopping and relaxing and grilling with my amazing family. :) Anyway, check out my extremely random version of a Patriotic manicure...

The Red is Essie 'Escapades" a beautiful red jelly. The White, is Sinful Colors 'Snow Me White'. The Blue is China Glaze 'Ride The Waves' which is a gorgeous blue jelly that I am IN LOVE with! Jelly Sandwich anyone?

Months ago I purchased some Martha Stewart micro beads from Michael's because I wanted to try doing caviar manicures, I finally used them for this one. So fun and so easy but kind of messy, I was really happy with the end result. For my middle finger I did used the 'Cloud Technique' to add white and blue scallops. The ring finger is gradient dots with my handy dandy dotting tool.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Alaina LOVES Neon!

Hello friends! If you haven't already noticed this summer is ALL about Neons! I am completely ok with this trend, because I absolutely ADORE bright, bold colors!  Check out this fun Manicure I did with a new China Glaze Neon called 'Love's A Beach'

The base is two coats of 'Love's A Beach' a gorgeous eye popping pink shimmery pink.

I wanted to add some fun polka dots, it was either going to be orange or yellow. I went with China Glaze's 'Papaya Punch' a gorgeous orange creme. I love the turn out!

Holy Cow!! That's BRIGHT!

These dots are using Bundle Monster plate BM-19, one of my favorites!

Thank you guys so much for reading! I hope you enjoy this mani!

Holographic Heaven!

Hello there lovely ladies! Thanks to the amazing nail polish addicts of Instagram, I discovered the Layla brand. I saw pictures and could not believe how intense the Holographic effect was, so I basically ran to Ulta to pick up a few.

LAYLA Hologram Effect in Flash Black.
I purchased this color and Mercury Twilight which is the silver   color. Unfortunately, Mercury Twilight was a BITCH to apply. I kept getting patches with every coat, it was a mess. Flash Black was much easier to apply I was so relived! I will be going back for more colors!

Inside my light box with NO FLASH. Gorgeous!

Blurry pic to show the crazy rainbow! I am in LOVE!

Out in direct sunlight. Swoon :)

I am so stoked about this polish! It's definitely something you might not want to have on your nails if you have a long drive ahead of you because you WON'T be able to stop looking at it.
Thank you so much for reading!  I hope you all have a great weekend!! Oh, and if you're on Instagram look for me! Electricbrrrd

Pink Rose Manicure

Hello friends! It's been a while and I've missed you all! I've been so busy with renovating a new home and then moving into said new home. Let me just say that renovating, packing, moving and still working 40 hours a week does not leave any extra time for blogging and or keeping up with my nails. BOO! Now that I am all moved in I am back and ready to blog!
Check out my first free hand rose manicure!

Two coats of All Hail The Queen by butter London as a base,  Sinful Colors Nail Art polish for the stripes and a bubble gum pink for the rose "blobs" then a light baby pink for the rose detail. (I can't remember which pinks. sorry!)

China Glaze Techno for the middle and ring finger just because.  I love that glitter!

Thank you so much for reading!

All Hail The Queen

Hello there friends! All Hail the Queen is right! This is NOT a polish to lay around in my untried drawer just waiting to be swatched...I had to put it on ASAP!
This is Brit Polish Company Butter Londons "All Hail The Queen', also know as "All Hail McQueen' and it's a gem!

I saw this on Polish on Pinterest and I had to pick it up! I couldn't stop thinking about it once I saw it so the NEXT day I was at Ulta hoping they would have it and they did! BTW I am COPLETELY obsessed with Pinterest so if you are also a Pinnie add me! pinterest.com/alainamichele

AHTQ is a gorgeous holographic sandy biege. This is one of the prettiest neutral polishes I have ever seen and it was well worth the price!

I applied two coats of 'AHTQ'  and as my very first Butter London polish I give it two thumbs up for sure! I can't wait to try more from Butter.

Thank you so much for reading!

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Nails!

Hello friends! A few weeks ago I ordered some new nail art tools from Ebay and after waiting (im)patiently  they finally got here!  I have been wanting to do an Aqua Teen Hunger Force manicure for the longest time and now that I finally have the right tools..and LOTS of tooth picks, I did it! Check it out! (Pic heavy!!)

Ignignokt...Frylock..Master Shake...Meatwad..Err

If you aren't familiar with AQTHF it's a show on Adult Swim and it's Hilarious! It's got that so dumb and ridiculous that it's funny vibe. Completely up my alley! I have been watching this show since high school and I still laugh just as hard as I did when I first saw it. Yeah...I am not going to grow up anytime soon. :p

My favorite...Meatwad. What can I say, Meatwad make the money see..Meatwad get the Honeys G!

This manicure took me a long time but it was COMPLETELY worth it, I am so happy with the way it turned out.

The aftermath...in nail art tooth picks can be your best friend!

You know I couldn't forget Ignignokt and Err..so rude! I love the way these little guys talk completely reckless to people and just don't give an ef! Ha! What do you guys think of this manicure? Let me know I really appreciate your feedback. :)

Thank you for reading! Happy Friday! I hope you all have an awesome weekend!
