What Wizardry is this?

Hello friends! The new 'Oz The Great and Powerful' collection from O.P.I came out recently and left me unimpressed, but after seeing this beauty swatched all over Instagram I had to break the no buy I was on to pick it up. It is gorgeous!

This is my first ever textured polish and I kind of love it! I didn't think I would, but the color has A LOT to do with it. WWIT is a beautiful bronze with gold micro glitter, perfect combination that will go with any skin tone.

After seeing the movie that this polish was based off, I am even more disappointed in O.P.I choice to make all of the other polishes in the collection so tame and well...boring. The movie was amazing btw!

The OPI liquid sand formula is amazing! This polish applied so perfectly in just two coats and dried super fast, if they come out with more pretty colors in liquid sand I will definitely be buying them.

With top coat...still very pretty.

Blurry to show the sparkle :)

Thank you so much for reading!

Tiffany&Co. Manicure

Hello lovlies! This manicure was inspired by that little blue box that lots of ladies just adore! The Tiffany&Co. signature robin's egg blue color has become a favorite of mine in the last few years, I especially love it on my nails.

China Glaze Aquadelic// O.P.I Crown Me Already for the accent nail.
Add a rhinestone and a white bow and this manicure is all done!

Gorgeous presentation from this classic brand.

Thank you so much for checking these out. I am really proud of how these nails turned out, exactly how I visioned them! More nails to come, so stay tuned friends!

Butter London

Hey loves! Check out my mini haul from Butter London! I had never tried these before but I am glad I did because these polishes are so unique and beautiful.
Butter London is kind of pricey so I only purchased three. I tried to choose three completely different polishes but there were so many I wanted! It was tough to choose.

'All Hail The Queen'  holographic sandy beige

'Wallis' burnt olive with greenish gold foil. I can't wait to put this on my nails!

'The Black Knight' black base with multi-color glitter! It's amazeballs!

ooooh look at the glitter! I see magenta, gold, blue and green..swoon!

What colors from this brand do you like? Let me know your must haves! Thank you for reading!

Riveting

Hello friends! For some reason I had no interest in the Hunger Games collection  until I started reading the books. Now all I can talk about is The Hunger Games. Seriously, if you haven't read them DO IT! I am in the middle of the second book and I don't want to put it down!

After seeing this orange beauty in person I am regretting not getting the entire collection.

China Glaze 'Riveting' or as I like to call it Electric Pumpkin.

Bright, Bold and sparkly. I am in LOVE!

I thought I would need at least three coats of this polish but two was more than enough. 'Riveting' applies like a dream and the bright orange with pretty gold shimmer looks amazing in the sin light.

Thank you all for reading! Have a fabulous day!

O.P.I Mini Haul: Nicki Minaj Collection

Hello Darlings! Sorry for my Lack of posts lately, I just got a new camera and I have been learning how to use it. I am still working on it but it's coming along quite nicely and I am learning a lot! My pictures have come out pretty well so far though! I hope that you all agree! :) I haven't done a polish haul for quite some time and I have been craving some new polish babies lately so I decided to do a little searching...my find was very satisfying. Check it out!
O.P.I Nicki Minaj collection....well most of them I didn't get the Crackle.
Now when it comes to Nicki Minaj I am NOT a fan of her music. I enjoy real hip hop and artists with talent *hides from stares of daggers and cyber rocks being thrown*. With that being said, I think she is very interesting and not afraid to be out there which I give her props for. Another thing I give props for is this amazing collection that has her name stamped all over it!

Beautiful Spring Cremes L-R
'That's Hot! Pink' (this was on clearance at Ulta so I had to give it a home it's not part of Nicki's Collection) Bright Hot PINK!, 'Pink Friday' a baby pink creme, 'Did It On 'Em'  bold yellow/green or Chartreuse, 'Fly' Teal Cream that I can't take my eyes off of.

'Save Me'
This Polish is so exciting and I just love the mini Holographic glittery strips! I don't have anything like this at all! This is by far my favorite of the Nicki Minaj Collection! I can't wait to put a few coats of this sexy polish over black. drool.

'Metallic 4 Life'  Chunky and not so chunky silver glitter in a black base, and once again 'Fly'. Fly is the younger brother of China Glazes 'Shower Together' if not younger than an identical twin. Teal + Creme = amazeB's!
Thank you so much for checking out my new loves! Remember to check back for the Giveaway Winner announcement coming on February 29th!

Galaxy nails!

Hello friends! Happy Friday!!
I have been seeing these nails all over the place and I absolutely LOVE them, so I had to give them a try. They are super easy and the possibilities are endless. I just used a black glitter base and a bunch of my favorite China Glaze colors to sponge on and VOILA!

The colors I used were all from China Glaze except for the base which is Goth from Orly.
China Glaze Lemon Fizz, Bohemian Escape, Grape Pop, Rich & Famous, Shower Together, Señorita Bonita. I used a white polish and a dotting tool to add some stars.

China Glaze in Fairy Dust (in hand) as a top coat to add some glittery goodness.

So Pretty :)
Thank you so much for checking out my Galaxy manicure, I hope you like it as much as I do. If you have any questions on the sponge manicure check out THIS post from my last sponge mani.

Have a great weekend!

Ghoulish Manicure!

Hello friends! I was in Ulta the other day and spotted some Halloween Nail Polishes! The ones that really caught my eye were China Glaze It's Alive and Ghoulish Glow also by China Glaze. GLOW IN THE DARK NAIL POLISH!! I can't wait to play with that one! Anyway, Check out this Ghoulish Mani that I created. I hope you enjoy!
For the Base I uses one coat of Orly Matte Vinyl and then I used two coats of It's Alive by China Glaze beautiful olive green glitter . Lately I have really enjoyed putting glitter polish over black.

China Glaze 'It's Alive'

Orly Matte Vinyl on the accent nail and Finger Paints Papier Mache for the white of the Ghost. The ghost of from Bundle Monster plate BM-223

Short nails again! I love them. I will not let them get super super long again. That was a phase and when one would break I would have a mini panic attack so yeah, shorter nails are the way to go for now. I hope you guys don't mind all of the Halloween Manicures. I know it's more than a month away but I like to get into the spirit early!
Thank you so much for reading! Have a great day!

Nail Fail: This is what happens when I try to be Cool

Le sigh. I wanted to do something dark with a cool accent nail..not so much ha ha...
I tried to do a lightening bolt but instead it looks like a piece of cheese. Womp, womp womp. Oh well. I instantly painted over the yellow after I got a few pictures of it ha ha. On a positive note I got good application and had no issues with the tape it can sometimes be a pain in the booty.

Orly Goth and China Glaze Happy Go Lucky for the Cheese...er I mean 'Lightening Bolt'.

I will try again! You will not defeat me.

These are the scissors I used to cut the pattern in the tape. I got them from Michaels and it was a set of 6. I don't remember how much I paid but I believe the individual pairs of these cost 2 bucks. I have lots of these craft scissors and have been meaning to use them for more fun Manicures.

Thank you so much for reading...hope this one made you laugh..I definitely had a chuckle or two.

Peace, love and not so perfect manis!

Music, Manicures, and More!

Happy Friday Cupcakes! Tonight I am going to see Talib Kweli and I am way stoked! I love Music and Talib is one of my favorites! This has been a great Concert year for me so far and it's only going to get better because I get to see Deftones in June and I just found out my Mom is going to take me to see the fabulous Sade for my Birthday!! EEEEEP! ANNNNYWAY ha ha this is the manicure I decided to go with for tonight. :)

I added Blurry pictures because I find that is shows off the rainbow effect.

I started off with two coats of Goth by Orly. It's my go to polish when I can't pick which color to go with. The hardest part of doing a manicure for me is picking the colors...everything else is easy peasy! ha ha. The I used Color Club Worth The Risque to stamp a design from Konad Plate M70

I love a good holographic design over a pretty black.

Thank you for reading!  I am off to go put on my Makeup for tonight! I hope you all have a great weekend. Be safe Loves!

Peace, Love, and Dancing the night away to
REAL Hip-Hop!
