All Hail The Queen

Hello there friends! All Hail the Queen is right! This is NOT a polish to lay around in my untried drawer just waiting to be swatched...I had to put it on ASAP!

 This is Brit Polish Company Butter Londons "All Hail The Queen', also know as "All Hail McQueen' and it's a gem! 

I saw this on Polish on Pinterest and I had to pick it up! I couldn't stop thinking about it once I saw it so the NEXT day I was at Ulta hoping they would have it and they did! BTW I am COPLETELY obsessed with Pinterest so if you are also a Pinnie add me! pinterest.com/alainamichele

AHTQ is a gorgeous holographic sandy biege. This is one of the prettiest neutral polishes I have ever seen and it was well worth the price!

I applied two coats of 'AHTQ'  and as my very first Butter London polish I give it two thumbs up for sure! I can't wait to try more from Butter.

I like this manicure a lot because its nude but still shimmers with a super cool pattern.

Music, Manicures, and More!

   Happy Friday Cupcakes! Tonight I am going to see Talib Kweli and I am way stoked! I love Music and Talib is one of my favorites! This has been a great Concert year for me so far and it's only going to get better because I get to see Deftones in June and I just found out my Mom is going to take me to see the fabulous Sade for my Birthday!! EEEEEP! ANNNNYWAY ha ha this is the manicure I decided to go with for tonight. :)

I added Blurry pictures because I find that is shows off the rainbow effect.

I started off with two coats of Goth by Orly. It's my go to polish when I can't pick which color to go with.The hardest part of doing a manicure for me is picking the colors...everything else is easy peasy! ha ha. The I used Color Club Worth The Risque to stamp a design from Konad Plate M70

I love a good holographic design over a pretty black.

ANOTHER LEOPARD PRINT?!......yes -___-

Hey Beauties! Check out this sexy Manicure with one of my new Holo babies. I LOVE this! I was out the whole day I had this Mani and got a lot of compliments on it, this is one of the manicures that people barely notice but when they do they are like "ooooh cool" ha ha.

The base is Orly Matte Vinyl  because it was the only Black polish I could find quickly..(I really need to organize my collection ha ha)  The leopard design is China Glaze Holograph from the TRONICA collection using the infamous Konad plate M57.

I was worried to  stamp a holo over a black because I wasn't sure if it would turn out well with just one coat..usually when I do a holographic I like to do 2 or 3 coats to get the full rainbow effect, but this one is a fabulous! The polish stamped so well, I can't wait to work with more color combinations.

I totally suck at taking pictures in the sunlight...or at least catching the sunlight in time ha ha.  Good thing the sun is setting ha ha ha! Sorry friends. What are you favorite color combos and finishes to work with? Anything special you would like to see?

One of my new loves...Techno Teal!

Hey loves..here is another Tronica polish..

 China Glaze// Techno Teal (love the name!) 

This was two coats and the application and it was great. I am really pleased with this color it's one of the ones I just KNEW I was going to love!

Electra Magenta meets O.P.I Black Shatter...

China Glaze// Electra Magenta from the Tronica collection...Beautiful color. 

Two coats..the application was great..I could have almost gotten away with using just One coat...almost. ;)

O.P.I Black Shatter plus TWO coats of Seche Vite...and  Voila! A pretty Funky Manicure!!

I am loving this look!! Of course I wanted to take pics of this awesome Mani in the sun but it was cloudy all day. Ha ha.... What do you lovlies think? More Tronica colors coming soon! Thanks for reading and following if you are!

POLISHGASM!!! China Glaze Tronica Collection!!

I went in to Sally's Beauty Supply to try and find the China Glaze Crackle polishes but I almost passed out when I saw the girl refilling the Tronica Display. I actually kind of rushed the poor girl and got in her personal space a bit but I was so excited. I made sure they were all there and I actually got the last of them. I was so excited to finally get them. They were 5 dollars each with my Sally's Card.

POLISHGASM!! China Glaze Tronica Collection

Today the Polish blogs were all in a tizzy over the new China Glaze Collection Tronica...and rightfully so...these polishes look amazing!! All beautiful "futuristic and Edgy" holographic. This drool worthy collection of 12..that's right TWELVE polishes is set to come out in Jan/feb through BSG (which is some kind of affiliate of Sally's from what I've seen online) and feb/march at Sally's Beauty Supply. Some of the names included in the collection are "Hyper Haute"and "Gamer Glam" I love the gamer one since I play video games! I plan on getting them ALL because my collection of holos is very small and this would be a great collection to amp up my selection...that rhymed and I DID NOT mean for that to happen..I promise I am not that cheesy. Ha! Check out the Amazingness that is China Glaze: TRONICA ( I also love the Silvery Shadow the Model is wearing..*swoon*)

Pretty exciting huh? I can't wait!  I am way more excited for this collection then the crackle collection that is set to come out. I tried that once and wasn't really feeling it but I am willing to give it another try..I've seen it look great on other nails. Also the term 'Polishgasm' comes from my lovely and beautiful and funny friend Mackenzie, @Makeupsexx on twitter  (you can follow her here..super awesome Mackenzie face!)
