Valentine's Day Nails with an Edge!

Hey Loves! Valentines Day is Just around the corner so its time for cute V-Day nails!  Have a look angel faces...

I used Sinful Colors 'Black on Black', and on the ring finger Sinful Colors 'Snow Me White' . These colors are amazing, the best black and white polish ever and for only two bucks a piece at Target! What a Bargain!

I used China Glaze 'Broken Hearted' for the Crackle effect and a random shimmery pink from a Migi Nail art pen to draw on the heart and polka dots.

I was going to use tape to make the pink have a cleaner line but I didn't want to wait for the black to dry completely. Hey, Don't judge me hahaha it still came out pretty good. What do you guys think?

I love this crackle!

Thank you so much for reading! Have a great weekend friends!

Galaxy nails!

Hello friends! Happy Friday!!
I have been seeing these nails all over the place and I absolutely LOVE them, so I had to give them a try. They are super easy and the possibilities are endless. I just used a black glitter base and a bunch of my favorite China Glaze colors to sponge on and VOILA!

The colors I used were all from China Glaze except for the base which is Goth from Orly.
China Glaze Lemon Fizz, Bohemian Escape, Grape Pop, Rich & Famous, Shower Together, SeƱorita Bonita. I used a white polish and a dotting tool to add some stars.

China Glaze in Fairy Dust (in hand) as a top coat to add some glittery goodness.

So Pretty :)
Thank you so much for checking out my Galaxy manicure, I hope you like it as much as I do. If you have any questions on the sponge manicure check out THIS post from my last sponge mani.

Have a great weekend!

Hi loves! Todays manicure is a bit on the darker less girly side but I love it. Black and Silver is one of my favorite color combinations.

China Glaze Liquid Leather and China Glaze devotion (in hand) for the spots. Bundle Monster plate BM-221 Devotion is one of the best polishes for stamping EVER! It transfers so well on the stamp. I definitely recommend trying this one out if you are a stamping beginer.

I can't wait for Halloween!

So I decided to test out my Skull Bundle Monster plate...this is kind of a nail fail but I still kind of like it. I definitely got the Halloween vibe from this mani. I LOVE Halloween! Actually I love every Holiday from October to January. My favorite part of Halloween is seeing all of the little kids dressed up, I buy WAY too much candy every year and completely OD on it. hahaha

China Glaze Liquid leather for the base and China Glaze Devotion for the Silver design using Bundle  Monster Plate BM-211 for the skull and Konad M57 for the fishnet.

Also I am sorry for the lack of blog posts recently....you can blame this...

Blog Love: Blogs that Inspire!

Hello Ladies! I was recently inspired by a new blog that I discovered. Jane over at NAILSIDE is an absolute genius with tape! Not to mention custom painting and color combinations. I absolutely fell in love with her blog and she is nice enough to have detailed tutorials with very clear pictures and instructions.

I tried to recreate her 'Explosion Manicure' which is just about one of the coolest things I have seen on nails in a long time, but my tape placement was off. I still really liked how it turned out though, I just probably should have started with the 'Lightening Bolt French'. (it involves less tape)

If you aren't following Nailside go follow now! Now, check out my attempt at the Explosion Design. I hope you like!

Base coat is two coats of China Glaze 'Traffic Jam'
Black is Orly 'Matte Vinyl'
Holographic is Color Club 'Worth the Risque'

Not too bad for a first time with this design. This manicure took me a while but next time I am going to cut the triangles before hand and really try and perfect the tape placement. Practice makes perfect!

China Glaze Traffic Jam from the Metro Collection. This was part of the 'Uptown'. This color is FANTASTIC! A beautiful Berry creme. LOVE!

Thank you all for reading!

Peace, love and PRACTICE!

Fun Tips!

Hello friends! I was recently playing around with some polish and came up with this fun french manicure. I rarely just focus on my tips but my nails are getting long enough to play around and experiment with manicures like this. I hope you like it.

Kind of Cheetara-esque don't ya think? hahaha That was NOT my intention and I didn't realize that until after.

China Glaze Hope Chest...Migi Nail Art Pen in Black...China Glaze Happy Go Lucky

I  painted the yellow on free hand, I may pick up some of the french manicure stickers to use as a guide next time so it will be more even.

Just the tip. ha!

What do you think? I can't wait to try more color combinations and designs. What do you guys have in mind? Any cool suggestions for a fun french Manicure? Let me know! Thank you for reading and I hope you all have a great weekend!

Black and White Hounds Tooth Manicure

Hello friends! The other day I was in the mood to do a hounds tooth design, it had been a while and I wanted something Jazzy. Check it out.

Orly Matte Vinyl and Finger Paints Papier Mache

I used my Konad plate in M63...this is a fun plate. The hounds tooth is one of my favorite patterns, one that I was most excited to do when I first started stamping.

Nail Fail: This is what happens when I try to be Cool

Le sigh. I wanted to do something dark with a cool accent nail..not so much ha ha...
I tried to do a lightening bolt but instead it looks like a piece of cheese. Womp, womp womp. Oh well. I instantly painted over the yellow after I got a few pictures of it ha ha. On a positive note I got good application and had no issues with the tape it can sometimes be a pain in the booty.

Orly Goth and China Glaze Happy Go Lucky for the Cheese...er I mean 'Lightening Bolt'.

I will try again! You will not defeat me.

These are the scissors I used to cut the pattern in the tape. I got them from Michaels and it was a set of 6. I don't remember how much I paid but I believe the individual pairs of these cost 2 bucks. I have lots of these craft scissors and have been meaning to use them for more fun Manicures.

Thank you so much for reading...hope this one made you laugh..I definitely had a chuckle or two.

Peace, love and not so perfect manis!
