Shades of Fame

Hey Friends! Just want to share a look at one of my new favorites, and my first ever Smashbox Palette.

The Shades Of fame Palette by Smashbox

close up
Included in the gorgeous set are 9 eye shadows, a mini primer, 2 creme liners and dual ended brush.

These shadows are so smooth with fabulous color payoff,  I can definitely see myself getting more Smashbox eyeshadows in the future.

Usually palette set brushes aren't that good but I actually like this one. This brush was the perfect addition to my mini brush travel set. The Shades of Fame palette is still available at the smashbox website Smashbox.com. I recommend this for you makeup lovers out there.
Thanks for reading! Have a great Day!

Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV

Hey Loves! I originally hadn't planned on picking up the most recent Book of Shadows from Urban Decay but I saw it in the store and I was intruiged. A few of the new colors really caught my eye and I wanted to get the Black  24/7 Liquid liner anyway so I figured why the ef not?!

10 NEW Colors! I'm not sure what all of the new ones are but  I think they are, Hijack, Midnight Cowgirl,  Midnight Rodeo, Crystal, Lost, Bender, Blue Bus, Missionary, Skimp, Bust. I could be wrong though.

This pallet also comes with a mini speaker and a USB cable and some other cable I think for connecting the mini speaker to an iPod. Ok I just tested it with my iPod and that is exactly what the other cable is for and this little baby gets pretty loud. hahaha Not too shabby. Excellent, that is actually pretty cool.

24/7 Water Proof Liquid eye liner in Perversion(I reviewed these liners a little bit ago and I LOVE them! Click HERE for that review!), Super Curl Curling Mascara, a tube of their famous Primer Potion.

SWATCH TIME!

Blue Bus, Gun Metal, Cobra, Baked

Bender, Gravity, Lost, Hijack
I am thinking Hijack is my favorite out of the whole bunch.. Actually this entire row is pretty rad, I didn't want to wipe it off hahaha.

Midnight Cowgirl, Sin, Midnight Rodeo, Crystal (Crystal is actually really pretty but I couldn't get a decent picture of it.)

Bust, Missionary, Skimp, Zephyr
I think Skimp and Zephyr are perfect for a good highlight.

If you want to buy this awesome Palette visit UrbanDecay.com
Thank you so much for reading! What shades look good to you? Let me know! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

Depotting my Urban Decay Eye Shadows

Hello friends! This weekend I had a fun project, I transferred my Urban Decay eye shadows to my new Z-Palette. It was pretty simple once I got a system going.
such a mess...eeeek!

A few M.A.C shadows and one Stila shadow made it into the Palette also. :)

Tools that I used. Box Cutter, Nail files, tongs, candle, wire cutters but you can just ignore those because I didn't use them, I thought I might have had to get crazy on something haha..luckily I didnt. I was worried to remove the shadows from their individual cases because I was worried that they would break but there were no shadow fatalities during the process.

After using the nail file to pop out the black part, I held it over the flame to melt the glue and loosen things up a bit. I didn't have to use the flame for all of them, I was able to use the box cutter to lift the actual metal pan out of the black part pretty easily for most.

 No breakage all...next step!

I also used the flame to melt the sticker glue so I could still have the names of the shadows on the pan. That part was actually fun! Well it was all pretty fun organizing, labeling, arranging..the part that sucked was popping out the black part from the main shell.

To get the sticker to peel off I held the open case over the flame for a few seconds the name sticker slides off very easily. Be careful though..it's obviously hot! I then placed the sticker on the back of the shadow pan. (The sticker also covers any access glue and doesn't ruin or dirty up the Z-Palette.)

Nice and neat and pretty, just the way I like it!

Finished Product! LOVE IT! So smart to have a clear case. I got this one at IMATS LA but I ordered two more Z-palettes from here, free shipping if you spend over 40 dollars and no tax not a bad deal!

Pretty! I have some new Urban Decay matte eye shadows coming..they were onlySIX dollars at UrbanDecay.com I will be transfering all off my shadows into palettes.
All in all this was a fun project! I absolutely love the Z-palette and highly recommend if you have a lot of shadows that you would like to consolidate. If you have any questions about any colors seen then please don't hesitate to send me a message or just leave a comment! Thank you so much for reading, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!

Peace, Love, and Organization!!

IMATS LA 2011 HAUL!

So...if I was rich this post would have a hundred pictutres. I could have spent thousands of dollars at IMATS..not only were there so many amazing products that I have never tried that appealed to me but the deals were really good. Check out my IMATS LA Haul friends!

Goodies!

My Very First INGLOT Palette! I am so stoked for this. I know it was worth the elbows to the side and the flock of other women I had to fight trying to get my colors picked out.

As usual I went for purples and blue/greens...I need to expand but those colors just go with my skin tone..I immediately reach out for them..meh...one day I will learn. ha! The application of these shadows is amazing..I am picking out my next two palettes.

Lashes were 3 for 5$ yes please!

Sexy NYX lashes. Love!
Zebra Z Palette..Going to get more organized...I have a bunch of Urban Decay Pretties that are going to end up here.

I have heard nothing but amazing things about this Model in a Bottle Brow Sealer. I can't wait to try it.

I have seen this thing ALL OVER youtube...This is the matte 88 Palette. It was under 20 bucks so I decided to give it a try. I need to expand my Matte shadow collection and this is a perfect way to do so.

Brush Holder from Crown Brush

Picked up a few brushes too! why not right?

NYY Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean..NYX Gloss..I can't rememer the name but it smells like cherries and I am all about that. Also, picked up a pink glitter liner. I lover NYX lots of variety in their line at a reasonable price.

OCC Loose Colour in Cavu Blue, Smote(top), and Flawed..I can not wait to try that blue one with the Wasabi one..which is my FAVORITE Neon Green! These are a collect them all item for me.

OCC Lip Tar in Iron Oxide a nice deep auburn red color.

OCC nail polish in Beta (super Neon Orange)..5 bucks! DEAL!

Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray. This one is for sensitive skin and was only 15$.

There is my haul! I didnt expect that I was going to get this many different things but I am excited to try them all. I will  put some swatches up for the shadows with a listof the numbers later on in the week. You are going to want to check out these babies! Thank you so much for reading. Have a Great weekend!

TOKIDOKI!! Most Adorable Makeup Brand on the planet!

Okay..so you know I love nail polish and makeup and all of that good stuff but what you don't know about  is my love for cartoons.. I am 27 years old and I still love watching, and drawing cartoons. I am really just a big kid. I think that is why I HAD to buy this tokidoki Palette (25$ at Sephora) . I didn't even test it..I thought of it as more of a collectible then something I would actually use. I know I am not the only one out there that has purchased something for this reason ha ha.

                                              *tokidoki Adios Palette*
Palette cube in its packaging. It's so fun and cute..I can't handle it..Why didn't I buy the rest?? gah!

Palette Cube.

Candy Cane//Carina
Adios//Malandrino

Opened up...

And it comes with a KEYCHAIN?!?! WHAT??! amazing..yes I was this excited in the store ha ha. It doesn't take much to get me  squealing with excitement..especially when I am in Sephora.

The Makeup portion of it isn't bad at all..I have only tried the lighter ones. I think I used them as a highlight a few times..Adios is you basic matte Black.  Candy Cane is a pearly white shimmer  and Carina is a grayish white with lots of glitter. This is the very first time putting Malandrino on my skin and I actually am kind of digging it..Its a nice grey with a hint of Blue. I think I am going to have actually USE this ha ha.
Thanks for checking out my habit..I mean Hobby :)

Best Of 2010! Eye Shadow!

Hello Beauties! I got lots of new beauty products this year but one of my very favorite and most used products would have to be the Urban Decay Book of Shadows. Alice in Wonderland Palette. I LOVE this thing..I told myself I was only going to use it for special occasions but once I started I COULD NOT STOP!

As you can tell from the Pictures..its pretty beat up..whoops! ha ha
When I found out this was coming out I KNEW I had to get it. I saw the Movie and loved it so much. I wish I had bought 2 of them.

I am loving the pop up. I never use the mirror but I guess its cool that it's there. ha

soooo beat up..It kills me! I know.I am a horrible makeup owner! ha ha
In this pic I've got on Jabberwocky//Wonderland//Midnight Tea Party//and Drink Me, Eat Me..(please keep in mind I am CLEARLY not a Professional Makeup Artist)
This was my look for Halloween( I was a Kitty and the black stripe is a whisker) I've got on Underland (bold purple) A bit of Jabberwocky(sparkly black) White Rabbit (Super Glittery Ivory)

I have used every color in this palette..if not as an eye shadow then as a lip color with a bit of clear gloss. I love the versatility of Eye Shadow!  Do you have this Palette? What are some of your favorites from it? Thanks for reading and following if you have!
